2011 Korean Festival

The Korean Festival (K-Fest) was created with the idea of uniting the Korean Community while showcasing Korean culture to the Greater Houston Community. The 2011 K-Fest will provide a fair-like atmosphere for diverse groups and performers such as traditional Korean dancers, Korean folk musicians, TaeKwonDo masters, and Korean American musicians who will conduct demonstrations and exhibit their unique talents.

Our goals are to:

  • Raise awareness of Korean culture through culinary, artistic, and theatrical expressions from various vendors and performers,
  • Strengthen relationships between the Korean community and the City of Houston,
  • And bridge the cultural gap between the first and second generation of Korean-Americans.

The 2011 K-Fest will be an experience unlike any other in the great City of Houston that both Koreans and non-Koreans can enjoy for free. We hope you have a great time and thank you for sharing the day with us!
